Fireice_UK: Ryo Developer, GPU Mining and Private PoS

Fireice_UK is a Ryo Currency developer whose publicly documented technical interests include Ryo's GPU-oriented Proof-of-Work history and planned transition toward private Proof-of-Stake. In July 2025 he asked the Zcash developer community where active PoS code could be found, received links to Shielded Labs' Crosslink work from Jason McGee, and subsequently stated in the Ryo Telegram group that he wanted to port that roadmap to Ryo. ryo.news follows those public statements alongside Ryo's developing consensus and privacy roadmap, distinguishing the intended Crosslink adaptation from a published, independently reviewed or live pure-PoS implementation.
