RYO Market Overview
The USD and BTC headline prices use the ryo.news composite calculation. The 24-hour change compares the current USD composite with the nearest locally observed composite from 24 hours earlier. Market capitalization is calculated from the current ryo.news composite price and circulating supply, while displayed volume is calculated from the listed market rows.

Chart Sources & Storage
The public page and public REST endpoints make no external API requests. A background task stores a complete market snapshot every five minutes. The plugin stores genuine CoinGecko four-day OHLC for the most recent year in both USD and BTC, refreshes it daily, and retains the bundled long-term USD daily-close archive from July 2018. ryo.news separately collects one-hour, four-hour and daily observed composite candles for both quote currencies.
Composite Price Method
The ryo.news index converts qualifying direct-market prices to USD, prefers fresh feeds, uses a volume-weighted median as its reference, excludes prices more than 25% from that reference, and then applies direct 24-hour USD-volume weighting. Markets reporting the most genuine trading volume therefore have the greatest influence, while abnormal prices and stale feeds remain constrained.
Volume & Market Capitalization
The overview volume is the sum of the individual listed market rows. Spot and AMM rows are counted independently. RYO market capitalization is generated by multiplying the current ryo.news composite RYO/USD price by the reported circulating supply. Imported daily chart bars retain their source volume and market-cap records.
Data Status
Live, delayed, stale, fallback and unavailable labels describe each current market feed. Stored CoinGecko OHLC remains available during temporary API failures. Each chart and table identifies whether a candle is genuine CoinGecko OHLC, locally observed ryo.news OHLC, or close-derived long-term USD history.
