About this series
The Underground is a nine-image visual series about the part of digital money most people never see.
Above ground are banks, exchanges, KYC screens, public markets, hype and surveillance. Below ground are private transactions, wallets, nodes, miners, peer-to-peer infrastructure and people building without an audience.
The collection uses the metaphor of an underground network to explore a simple idea: privacy should not be an optional layer added after the fact. It should be part of the architecture itself.
Each image moves deeper from public spectacle toward quieter, decentralized infrastructure — less surveillance, fewer intermediaries, less permission and greater financial autonomy.
Together, the nine works form a single narrative: the crowd may still be looking above ground, but private money is being built underneath it.
Privacy by Default. Freedom by Design.
